The path of learning is always ahead.
It circles around while more
questions said.
It circles still, the path now entrenched.
It does not distend yet further into the distance;
My feet just ingrain another layer deeper.
Circling. Circling.
The same path ahead.
Behind the questions still linger.
The path that I walk brings
more clarity than doubt - no!
more doubt than clarity -
As I realize the greatest thing to discover is (?) somehow
myself!
![]() Student Organization During a project-based learning lesson, the students were given supplies at the front of the classroom to make their own creations. The supplies were becoming more and more spread throughout the classroom and many students offered complaints of the misplacement of supplies. After wondering aloud how we could approach this problem, one student decided he had an idea! This was his strategy after 10 minutes and independently asking for peer support. | ![]() Student Generated Math Strategy (2nd Grade) Students were able to show a counting game which was a student-invented strategy for numeracy. Students were able to share this game with their peers and the class began to create other numeracy math games to work on during stations. | ![]() SSI Summer School 2017 The classroom shows student generated content. The student responses to content questions were recorded on anchor charts and displayed for students. These demonstrated deepening understandings and connections across learning domains. This class was co-taught with another teacher and geared instruction towards students' prior knowledge and experiences |
